Summary: Trouble shoots, repairs, builds, and installs electrical, hydraulic, electronic, and mechanical systems.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The primary responsibility of the Maintenance Electromechanical Technician is to safely and efficiently perform top-quality operational duties on a daily basis which include (but are not limited to) the following:
Trouble shoots, repairs, builds and installs electrical/electronic, hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical systems
Works from manuals, schematics, and blue prints
Assembles, programs, and installs PLC systems
Performs other work related duties and tasks as assigned by Maintenance Supervisor or Group Leader.
Supervisory Responsibilities: None
Qualifications: Trained in use and operation of switchgear, troubleshooting electrical and hydraulic systems.
Education and/or Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent. Technical training from the military, vocational/technical school or college. Five years’ experience as a technician in an industrial maintenance department.
Language Skills: Ability to read and comprehend sufficient English to follow work instructions and blueprints. Must be able to communicate well verbally with others.
Mathematical Skills: Basic mathematical skills associated with the position.
Reasoning Ability: Strong reasoning ability to troubleshoot machines. Must work well with little supervision
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Must be able to achieve and retain a forklift license.
