Shift - Nights

Wage $24.38 per hour

 Job Summary

• Review and understand all work orders.

• Setup all fiberglass-bending molds and belling equipment.

• Adjust all saws for required jobs.

• Set correct air pressure for fiberglass molds.

• Adjust all saws and drills for required jobs   
• Any other jobs as given by the supervisor
• Identify and locate material by dimensional size and color.
• Retrieve all required materials.

• Bell or bend all required fittings.

• Make specialty fittings.

• Assist in the pull and glue all required fittings
• Safely operate IPM( Automatic Bending Machines) to obtain maximum output while limiting, monitoring and reducing scrap and downtime.

• Visual check of parts for damage, proper angle and bell depth.

• Visual check O.D.

• Minor repairs (tightening bolts).

• IPM operator to adjust final set up parameters after Lead Hand has completed changeover, operator to monitor and adjust settings to maximize production output.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Senior Management.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

• Prior experience in fabrication an asset
• Ability to read, write, understand and communicate effectively in English.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical functions (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division).
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds/23 kilograms.
