JOB SUMMARY

The Maintenance Mechanic Sr. is responsible for the facility and production equipment repairs. Their duties include equipment preventive maintenance, fabricating, equipment trouble shooting and equipment installations. The Mechanic III will need the flexibility to work different schedules to help minimize equipment downtime and show respect toward all co-workers.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

· Comply with Company Safety Policies and Procedures

· Will wear assigned PPE in order to safely perform all job tasks

· Maintains a professional and positive attitude

· Reports any and all injuries to respective supervisor(s)

· Performs general housekeeping duties to help maintain a clean and safe work area

· Attends company sponsored training when necessary

· Performs other duties as assigned or needed

· Regular attendance, timeliness and scheduling flexibility

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

. Basic knowledge of 24 volt to 480 volts

. Preferred electrical, Numatics controls, hydraulics, PLC

. Must have knowledge of all hand tools

· Attention to detail and accuracy

· Must be able to read and write in English and/or Spanish

· Ability to receive and carry out instructions given by management

· Ability to model desired behavior and conduct for all employees

· Must be safe minded and alert during times of operation

· Demonstrated traits of honesty and integrity and ability to maintain confidential information

· Ability to maintain a clean and safe work area

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

The employee should have the following:

· High School Diploma or equivalent and training or certification in relevant skill or trade

· 3 to 5 years' experience in a relevant field

ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT

The employee should possess the ability to:

· Prolong standing or in stationary position

· Complete repetitive movements such as typing

· Be exposed to sounds or noise levels that maybe uncomfortable

· Complete repetitive movements

· Wear all required personal protective equipment (hearing, vision and hardhat protection)

· Lift/move/transport items up to 50 pounds

· Ability to move or traverse about the facilities

· Must be able to ascend/descend stairs or ladders

· Ability to work around dust, chemicals, and other substances, and in various environmental conditions

· Will wear steel-toed boot for the duration of work shift
