Summary: Troubleshoots, repairs, builds, and installs plant production and support equipment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The primary responsibility of the Maintenance Technician is to safely and efficiently perform top-quality operational duties on a daily basis which include (but are not limited to) the following:
- Bends conduit, pulls wire, and hooks up equipment
- Maintain machine and support equipment PMs
- Performs other work related duties and tasks as assigned by Maintenance Supervisor or Group Leader.
Supervisory Responsibilities: None.
Qualifications: Trained in use and operation of electrical and hydraulic systems.
Education and/or Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent. Technical training from the military, vocational/technical school or college. Three years’ experience as a technician in an industrial maintenance department.
Language Skills: Ability to read and comprehend sufficient English to follow work instructions and blueprints. Must be able to communicate well verbally with others.
Mathematical Skills: Basic mathematical skills associated with the position.
Reasoning Ability: Strong reasoning ability to troubleshoot machines. Must work well with little supervision.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Must be able to achieve and retain a forklift license.

Training Requirements:
- General Job Duties: Trouble shooting and repairing electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems and PLCs.
- Line Operation: Responsible for getting lines that go down back to production in a timely manner.
