Operations Maintenance Coordinator (OMC)
Job Description
SUMMARY
The Operations Maintenance Coordinator (OMC) ensures the accurate and timely maintenance of operational assets by the approval and screening of work requests and development of maintenance work schedules to meet asset reliability requirements. Assist as needed in day to day operation and unit troubleshooting.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
May include, but are not limited to, the following:
* Support and drive accident prevention and overall Safety culture.
* Develop and own Daily and Weekly Maintenance Schedules.
* Co-own Weekly, Monthly, and Annual Budgets.
* Manage, approve, and prioritize notifications.
* Subject Matter Expert for Notifications, Work flow Process, and equipment repair.
* Responsible for PM and Inspection compliance.
* Liaison with Engineering, Maintenance Supervisors, Production, and Logistics.
* Lead planning effort for major equipment outages.
* Participate in monthly Safety, LOTO, and Environmental Audits.
* Participate in RCA and PSSR reviews.
* Coordinate day/night orders with Production Supervision and Operations staff.
* Responsible for using and executing company policies in a fair, equitable, and consistent manner.
* Support Poly 3 Production efforts.

5. Perform duties in a manner that protects personal safety as well as the safety of others. Promptly report Safety, Health or Environmental issues or incidents to management.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
* Successful candidates must satisfy background screening, including motor vehicle record screening, drug testing & pre-employment physical requirements before starting work.
* A current, valid Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) card is required.
* 10 Years Operational Experience and/or Maintenance Experience preferred.
* Poly 3 Supervisory, Poly 3 Step-Up, or Operator experience preferred.
* Technical Experience developed from work experience.
* Experience with SAP or similar program preferred.
* Effective communication skills.
* Ability to work with minimal supervision.
* Understanding of complex processing requirements of chemical plants.
* Good understanding of mechanical processes and technology.
* Good Excel Spreadsheet skills.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit; stand; walk; use hands to touch, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate as normally based in an office. Some of the work may be required in the operating units which can require usage of required PPE including safety glasses, hearing protection, etc. May also result in exposure to outside elements and may require usage of stairs and elevators. Travel including air travel or auto travel may occasionally be required.
