Job Description


SUMMARY:

This position performs tests and projects as directed by the QC/Lab Supervisor to support the manufacturing production operations and sales efforts.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collect representative production samples for testing.
  • Perform appropriate QC Tests.
  • Compile and record test data into SAP/S4 system
  • Generate COA’s with each shipment.
  • Assure pre-ship samples are sent.
  • Assist in manufacturing quality troubleshooting.
  • Assist in administrative, organization of QC specifications, data and incoming data.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.


EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
Must have scored Silver or above on WorkKeys test.

Experience in Quality or a quality laboratory is preferred.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and work on a computer, stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee frequently is required to walk; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit and climb or balance. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Manufacturing environment includes dust, outdoors, high noise levels.
Worker Type: Regular (rotating work shift includes day, evening, and night shift)
