SUMMARY:

This position performs tests and projects as directed by the QC/Lab Supervisor to support the manufacturing production operations and sales efforts.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collects representative production samples for testing.
  • Performs appropriate QC Tests.
  • Compile and log test data.
  • Generate COA’s with each shipment.
  • Assure pre-ship samples are sent.
  • Assist in manufacturing quality troubleshooting.
  • Assist in administrative, organization of QC specifications, data and incoming data.
  • Performs Compound Flexible Color Match development work.
  • Generates and approves Process orders for compound production runs.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Score Silver or above on WorkKeys test.
  • Quality lab experience preferred.
  • Experience in production in a compounds manufacturing facility is preferred.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and work on a computer, stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee frequently is required to walk; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit and climb or balance. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Manufacturing environment includes: dust, outdoors, high noise levels.
