Regional Channel Manager - Siding & Trim, East Division
Job Description
SUMMARY
Provide expert knowledge and strategic direction for all products distributed through 2-Step distribution for Siding & Trim - East Division. These products include three brands of PVC Trim & Mouldings, Versetta, TruExterior, Celect, Zuri, Cedar Renditions, and Wellcraft. Works with Regional Directors, Territory Managers, Market Development Managers and Independent Reps Agencies for the assigned division. The Channel Manager looks for new distribution partners, grow business with existing accounts and introduce new products to the market. This position also assists in closing deals, creating opportunities, attending trade shows.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Significant travel across each region in the division
Provides the specialized relationship for the 2-Step model
Partners with Regional Directors, Territory Managers, Ind Reps, and Market Development Managers regarding accomplishing product expertise, sales goals, customer visits, strategic direction, deal implementation and quarterly distribution success planning
Identify and perform due diligence for new distribution opportunities
Maintain and establish strong relationships with all existing customers and key account relationships
Develop sales strategy to capture increased market share across all sales territories
Works with product management to help identify and qualify new product opportunities
Works with marketing to understand and execute unique needs of all channels and end users
Make presentations, demonstrate products and represent the company at trade and distributor shows
Analyzes market pricing to ensure competitiveness in the product category
Develop, coach, and mentor staff to ensure goals are met and team feels supported
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum of five years’ work experience in a related sales role
Strong work ethic; confident, competitive and driven with leadership
Superior communication skills and presentation skills are a must
Previous experience with innovation preferred; not afraid to work on new products and projects
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit; stand; walk; use hands to touch, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Job will require 70% travel on average. Ability to be away from home for multiple nights per week and riding in automobiles for several hours per day is required. Insurability and valid US state driver’s license is mandatory.
