Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US markets. The base pay for this position is $25.00. This rate is based on relevant market data in our lowest and highest geographic markets. Pay is based on several factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, experience and skillset. Westlake is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, sign on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package (also to include a full range of medical and other benefits).

SUMMARY 

Working under the general supervision of the Warehouse Superintendent, following specific procedures, performs a variety of duties to accomplish the shipment of all finished goods and the receipt of all purchased materials. 

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

May include, but are not limited to, the following: 

  • Answer questions and changes about orders from customer service 

  • Respond to any and all e-mails pertaining to shipping or receiving questions or needs 

  • Print Picking Tickets for orders to be pulled for customers 

  • Input completed customer orders pulled and generate packing list and pallet list with BOL to be attached to order 

  • Call in freight to be pickup everyday 

  • Provide directions to truck drivers 

  • ASN freight or order depart orders after it has been picked up 

  • Pull hot orders as needed 

  • Double check all hot orders as needed 

  • Assist with quarterly inventory 

  • Comply with all Employee Conduct and Work Rules 

  • Comply with all Company policies 

  • Perform all other duties as assigned 

 

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. 

  • Strong attention to detail 

  • Ability to work under minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment. 

  • Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent 

 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS 

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and walk.  The employee frequently is required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear.  The employee is occasionally required to sit.  The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.  Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus. 

 

WORK ENVIRONMENT 

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions and moving mechanical parts.  The employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, risk of electrical shock, and vibration.  The employee is occasionally exposed to high, precarious places.  The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
