SUMMARY
With direction from the crew supervisor, this position will support the post extrusion operations including, but not limited to sealing, cutting, and packaging. This position will be responsible for offbearing material, printing/applying labels, cutting material, packing, and operating a forklift to move in-process and finished product. These duties will vary based on production needs.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
May include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Ability to use a stapler, bander and safety knife.
- Proficient with label printing software.
- Must be able to follow quality specifications and board width specifications.
- Ability to read digital calipers.
- Must be proficient in all post extrusion operations.
- Skilled training to operate a forklift.
- Maintain level of quality consistent with established standards.
- Comply with established safety rules.
- Comply with company policy and procedures.
- Maintain constructive working relationships with co-workers, leads, supervisors, and managers.
- Maintain regular attendance in accordance with company policy.
- Perform other duties as assigned to the satisfaction of the supervisor.

- Education/Knowledge
High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or one to three months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience
At least 6 months in a manufacturing environment. Forklift experience preferred.
- Skills
Mechanical aptitude, ability to drive forklift, operate saw, use small hand tools; possess computer skills, and ability to read and follow work orders.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
WORK ENVIRONMENT

While performing the duties of this job, the employee frequently works near moving mechanical parts and is frequently exposed to vibration. The employee occasionally works in outside weather conditions.
