Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US markets. The base pay for this position is $26.90. This rate is based on relevant market data in our lowest and highest geographic markets. Pay is based on several factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, experience and skillset. Westlake is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, sign on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package (also to include a full range of medical and other benefits).

Summary: Responsible for supporting the Warehouse Superintendent and executing normal warehouse operations including order pulling, replenishment, staging, shipping/receiving, and inventory control in a timely and cost-effective manner.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Pick and pack orders timely; review work at end of day to ensure completion.
  • Receive and count stock items and record data in computer.
  • Examine and inspect stock for defects as necessary.
  • Support and execute inventory control processes.
  • Support basic ERP troubleshooting with both handheld scanners and computer (Microsoft AX).
  • Support maintaining facilities and equipment (using outside expertise).
  • General housekeeping.
  • Manage facility and activities when supervisor/manager is off-site.
  • Comfortable with change and continually strive to improve.
  • Exercise leadership in organizing the efforts of the warehouse to effectively focus on the achievement of objectives.
  • Conduct cycle counts and annual physical inventories and strive to maintain ongoing finished goods accuracy.
  • Perform audits and ensure all quality, safety, and environmental standards are fulfilled.
  • Other duties may be assigned by supervisor/manager.

Supervisory Responsibilities: Hourly employees/temporary employees

Qualifications: 3+ Years experience in warehousing or manufacturing for a high-volume multi-product manufacture

Education and/or Experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Exposure to ERP systems requiring handheld picking.
  • Experience driving PIV equipment (LPG sit-downs, reach lifts, pallet riders).

Language Skills: Proficient in English. Intermediate ability to read and interpret text.

Math & Technology:

  • Basic math skills.
  • Experience with ERP systems (Microsoft AX preferred).
  • Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word/Excel).
